Title: Block Party
Location: Cedar Crt from 138th St SE to Beach Crt
Description: You’re invited to join us for the annual Sky Harbor Block Party. It is going to be located at the park on July 2nd starting at noon. SHHOA will be providing BBQ hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and hotdogs (from Costco) as well as bottled water and condiments. We beg that you PLEASE RSVP with number of people attending so we know how much food to purchase. Please bring your own side dishes (chips, fruits, soda’s etc) to go with your burgers and dogs. If you wish to bring something to share, this would be greatly appreciated. We will be blocking off Cedar Crt from 138th St SE to Beach Crt to provide space for tables, pop-ups etc, a picnic area if you will. If you would like to bring folding tables, chairs, pop-ups etc, place these items in your driveway before 11:30am, we will have a trailer rotating to transport them to site. Note: The Park has very limited sitting and shade, these items are encouraged.

Sky Harbor Block Party

We will have games, including some games involving SuperSoakers. Thus, if you own brightly colored water ordinance, bring it … and back up. The wars begin after lunch. (Do I really need to say that this is for the kids? … yes, I probably do).
Here is what we need to make this work.
1. Orange Traffic Cones/Soccer Cones – To block off the street for safety – returned after party
2. We have one BBQ, a 2nd BBQ would be excellent – HOA will provide LP
3. It would be great if we had some volunteers to help at the grill, split the time up a little
4. We could also use some volunteers to run the games for the kids
If you would like to volunteer with grill, kid’s games, or any items needed, please contact Craig.
What you need to bring
1. Pop-up shade, folding table and chairs for your family
2. Sunscreen, waterproof sunblock for the kids. Swimsuits
3. Supersoakers, water guns, water cannons, squirt guns … one for each child, two for dad.
4. Side dishes to go with burgers and dogs – or to be shared
5. One towel per child. None for Dad.
