Sky Harbor HOA Special Meeting Minutes

Via Proxy, Celia Callaway discussed the issues the night before with Craig.  School interfered with schedule.   

Special Meeting Business
Motion by Craig to approve Collection Policy as written and further to publish policy to the website.   2^nd by Bill – Passed
Discussion – Hiring labor for ponds so work party can be used to clean up areas in disrepair.   Hopefully to get better attendance and make this event more enjoyable for members, as well as to show improvement in neighborhood appearance. 
Motion by Craig to hire out labor to clean retention pond(s), not to exceed $1200.  2^nd by Bill – Passed
Motion by Craig to purchase 8 yards of 5/8less gravel for walkway on south side of Dogwood Pond.  2^nd by Bill – Passed
Motion by Craig to purchase ground cover & bushes for Work Party, not to exceed $500.  2^nd by Bill – Passed
Motion by Craig to purchase pea gravel & beauty bark for Work Party.  2^nd by Bill – Passed
Motion by Craig to purchase Blackberry Killer, Weed Fabric, Crabgrass Killer & BBQ Paint.  2^nd by Bill – Passed
Tabled – Creation of past due notice to be mailed to all past due home owners.  Dale to create letter and have ready for May BOD meeting.
Tabled – Create News Letter and set date for 2012 Work Party.  Craig to create, distribute & post to website.

Special meeting called by Craig Dailey via email for the purpose of 1) getting collection policy approved and posted ASAP.  2) to address Dales concerns about this year’s Work Party.   Note:  Special Meetings do not require Standard agenda, only addressing issues called.

Annual Meeting Results
March 2012
This year at the annual meeting, 25 votes were present either in person or by proxy.  The 2012 budget was voted in as the same as last year, assessment dues will remain at $200.00 per lot per year and notices will be going out in early April.   Celia Callaway was elected to the Board of Directors to serve 3 years.  Amy Tudor has stepped up as the new Secretary.
