The following are frequently asked questions and answers about the Sky Harbor HOA.
Q: How much are my dues?
A: The 2008 Sky Harbor HOA dues were $200 per lot. They are collected each spring, usually in April.
Q: How are my dues being used?
A: About half the budget is allocated to landscaping. You can review the 2008 budget here.
Q: Will my dues increase or decrease?
A: Dues will likely remain about the same in 2009 as they were in 2008.
Q: Why do we need a homeowners association?
A: Ownership and responsibility for common areas is required by law to reside with an entity such as an HOA. For more information, refer to Article 3.1 of the Declaration.
Q: Why are the bylaws and covenants so difficult to read?
A: Our bylaws are derived almost word for word from Washington RCW 64.36 which governs Homeowners Associations. The CC&Rs are written to be as precise as possible, but if they are not clear they should be rewritten.
Q: How many homes are there in Sky Harbor and when were they built?
A: The Sky Harbor development consists of 62 homes built from 2005 to 2006.
